Grand Red

Building on a tradition of uncompromising excellence, Trius Grand Red is an artful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot specifically crafted to age gracefully.  Aging on its 'lees' in small handcrafted oak barrels has contributed to the intense aromatic nose.  Bottles with minimal filtration to retain the full depth of flavours, this wine is rich and full-bodied with a very long finish.  If consumed young, decant and allow to breath for 2 hours before serving.

A full-bodied wine with firm tannins, moderate acidity and good structure.  Flavours of black fruits, spice and cedar develop on the palate, while juicy black currants and blackberries touched with vanilla and dried herbs linger through on the drying finish.
